THE STORY:
10 years ago, Able Ebenezer was the 17th brewery to open in New Hampshire. Today there’s upwards of 100. As a self-distributing brewery, landing our first 10 draft accounts took months.
Today, we manage hundreds of accounts. And while we’re happy to have made it to this point, this milestone isn’t an end to the battle; it’s just the beginning.
10 years after Ebenezer Mudgett led The Pine Tree Riot in 1772, our young nation was still at war with the British. -- 10 years after the Declaration of Independence, our country did not yet have a Constitution. -- 10 years after winning the American Revolution, the country was still wrestling with what it was.
All pioneering efforts are filled with challenges to their longevity. Able Ebenezer is no different.
So yes, 10 years is a long time for a small local brewery founded in a garage by a couple Army buddies, but to us, this point is another step on the long journey toward making Able what we always wanted: the craft beer of the “Live Free or Die” state.
This beer is a thank you to all that have helped us to this point and continue to lead us forward.
