THE STORY:

The Merrimack Fire Department has proudly served the people of the Merrimack community since 1924. Built in 1938, the historic Engine 3 served the town for nearly 50 years and is still maintained today.

In 1983, Local 2904 was chartered with the International Association of Fire Fighters as a way to better support the men and women who serve the Town of Merrimack. Local 2904 uses its fundraising efforts to donate Thanksgiving turkey dinners to local residents, provide scholarships to Merrimack students, and contribute to charities and organizations such as the Merrimack Lioness Club and the Special Olympics of New Hampshire.
