JIM VARELA

BREWER

Jim was born and raised in Merrimack, NH (he was Mr. Merrimack High School 2010…NBD) and fell in love with craft beer at Able Ebenezer.

He accepted a position at Iron Heart Canning Company, a role which brought him into the craft beer industry (and to the edge of sanity with the long hours). After we hired him, he kept coming in on his days off to fire up the pilot 5-gallon brewing system so we thought he be more useful making beer than selling it.

He spends his free time camping, hiking, fishing, snowboarding, playing lacrosse and football, and being a “Rad Dad.”
