DESCRIPTION:
Kilgore is made in collaboration with Rare Breed Coffee. Kilgore is cold steeped post fermentation using a single origin, Colombian coffee. This process allows for the extraction of a richer coffee flavor without the bitterness. This beer has rich flavors reminiscent of brownies & chocolate without being overly sweet.
For 2023, we made Kilgore with 50% more coffee and made it a bit darker to complement the new coffee varietal.

Kilgore is a window into how Vonnegut really felt. The man had a strong opinion on almost everything, but the one for himself was never very high. Nothing he did was good enough; he always believed he could be doing better. This beer serves as a reminder to always be challenging yourself, because you’re probably on your way to doing something great whether you realize it or not.
